Malcolm Gilroy

Malcom is a seasoned financial services executive with extensive international investment and management experience. He spent ten years as a Technical Advisor to the World Bank Group, mandated to review countries' economic landscape and advise Government on ways to rejuvenate their dormant bond market. He works as an investment banker and consultant. As an investment banker, he built global sales and trading operations for banking Capital and was responsible for overseeing Asset Management, Stockbrokers, and Insurance Brokers. As a consultant, he worked with central banks, security and exchange commissions, and commercial banks.

Before joining the World Bank Group, Malcolm had a successful career as a bank treasurer and investment counsel in Canada. He developed the first foreign bond fund in the country and sat on the Asset Mix Committee of Laketon Investment Management. While SVP and Treasurer of UBS Canada, Michael was a representative on the Bank of Canada hosted Canada Foreign Exchange Committee and has sat on the Fixed Income and Wealth Management Committees of the Toronto chapter of the CFA Society.

At Logan Wealth Management, Michael sits on the Executive Committee and Chairs the Investment Committee and works on corporate strategy and development. In addition to his professional activities, Malcom is the Treasurer and Chair-in-Waiting of the Jane Goodall Institute of Canada and Vice-Chair of Lupus Canada.
